Why Join CVS?

I joined CVS because I wanted to have some actual experience doing something. I
wanted to be able to show/tell an interviewer about something that I a ctually
did or contributed to. Plus between the tw o projects that we've been told abou
t, Salvation A rmy Makeover and Library Database, it looks like w e'll have a br
oad array of things to do.

They typ es of projects that I'm interested in are t
he hand s on kind. I'm not the most savvy guy with power t ools but i'll give it
a go. Also if we get anythin g that has to deal with computers i'd like to be i
nvolved. Right now I'm learning PHP, MySQL, and HT ML on my own so anything tha
t could add to that wo uld be great. I'm willing to help with anything. I f ya g
ot any questions just ask.

So how about eve ryone else, why'd you join and what
are you lookin g to do?

I joined CVS because for some reason I love to hel p people and when I came to M
SOE, CVS was right th ere waiting for me to join!

I am glad that I hav e been
able to become an influential part of CVS. From participating in the various ev
ents to ensuri ng that the group keeps running, it has been a tru e privilege fo
r me because in the end, it all come s down to what I have done for those less f
ortunat e than me.

I look forward to more individuals sh aring their thoughts
on this subject
